How to reach us
The CurrentPrisonList is an online directory rather than a call center, so the fastest way to reach us is by email or through our request form. We are not a jail, a court, or a law enforcement agency, and we cannot look up custody status, relay messages to inmates, or accept bail or commissary payments. For those, use the contact details on the specific facility page.
Need a specific jail?
To confirm custody, post bail, send money, or arrange a visit, contact the jail directly using the phone number and address listed on its facility page. Those details are not handled by us.
Corrections and removals
If a page on this site contains inaccurate information, or you want a listing corrected or removed, please use our dedicated form — it captures the details we need and routes straight to the review queue. Corrections and removals are always free.

Data and source suggestions
We are always expanding coverage. If your county's jail is missing, if a roster source has moved, or if you represent an agency and want to flag the correct public data feed, let us know at data@countyjailroster.com. Please include the county, state, and a link to the official roster if you have one.

What to expect
We review messages in the order they arrive and aim to respond to removal and correction requests within a few business days. Complex requests, or those that require verification, may take a little longer. You will always get a reply letting you know the outcome.
We never charge fees
We do not publish mugshots and we never charge to correct or remove information. Anyone demanding payment to take down a listing is not affiliated with CurrentPrisonList.
