What HMP Ford is
HMP Ford holds men suitable for open conditions. It occupies former military land near Arundel.
Open does not mean unbooked visits; follow GOV.UK and bring approved ID.
Locating someone at HMP Ford
HMP Ford does not publish a landing list. Use GOV.UK Find a prisoner with name and date of birth. HMPPS only confirms the prison if the person consents. If they were in court today, wait until the next working day before you decide the form is wrong.
Visiting HMP Ford
Book HMP Ford through the national prison-visits service and the official GOV.UK page. You must already be on the visitor list. Session times change; we only reprint a timetable when we have fetched it from that page.
Getting to Arundel
Arundel or Barnham by rail, then a taxi to Ford Road. Rural lanes; plan the return taxi.
