What HMP Guys Marsh is
HMP Guys Marsh holds adult men. Erlestoke and Exeter sit on the remand-to-trainer path through the South West.
The A30 from Salisbury is the usual driving approach; sat-nav “Shaftesbury prison” may miss the gate.
Locating someone at HMP Guys Marsh
HMP Guys Marsh does not publish a landing list. Use GOV.UK Find a prisoner with name and date of birth. HMPPS only confirms the prison if the person consents. If they were in court today, wait until the next working day before you decide the form is wrong.
Visiting HMP Guys Marsh
Book HMP Guys Marsh through the national prison-visits service and the official GOV.UK page. You must already be on the visitor list. Session times change; we only reprint a timetable when we have fetched it from that page.
Getting to Shaftesbury
Gillingham (Dorset) or Salisbury, then a taxi. Shaftesbury buses help for part of the way.
