HMP Hull

Hull prison is on Hedon Road, east of the city, a men’s local that still takes the courts of the East Riding. Humber prison (the old Everthorpe / Wolds site inland) is a different trip. Families who drive “towards Hull” without a postcode collect the wrong visitors’ centre.

Hedon Road local

HMP Hull, HU9 5LS, is a Category B local for adult men. It is a city-edge jail, not the inland Humber campus. Inspection reports have tracked crowding and maintenance here for years; they are not a roster.
