Walton local, not Altcourse
HMP Liverpool is the Hornby Road local for adult men — remand and short sentences, a tired radial site that inspectors have written about at length. Altcourse (G4S / contractor, Fazakerley/Fazakerley-side) is a different establishment with a different visits building. If the van went to Walton, do not book Fazakerley.
GOV.UK’s Liverpool page is the live source for hours and the governor. We are not guessing a grid.

Visits
National booking service plus GOV.UK Liverpool guidance. Walton railway station and local buses along Hornby Road are the usual last mile. It is a residential grid; parking is not a car park at a retail park.
Hornby Road, L9
Not the city centre. Not the Albert Dock. A northern suburb with a wall in it. Plan from Liverpool Lime Street with extra time.
