What HMP Berwyn is
HMP Berwyn holds adult men. It is HMPPS. The site is modern and huge; that does not mean the visits desk is informal.
Locating someone at HMP Berwyn
HMP Berwyn does not publish a landing list. Use GOV.UK Find a prisoner with name and date of birth. HMPPS only confirms the prison if the person consents. If they were in court today, wait until the next working day before you decide the form is wrong.
Visiting HMP Berwyn
Book HMP Berwyn through the national prison-visits service and the official GOV.UK page. You must already be on the visitor list. Session times change; we only reprint a timetable when we have fetched it from that page.
Getting to Wrexham
Wrexham General, then a bus/taxi to the industrial-edge site at Bridge Road. It is not central Wrexham shopping. Cars are typical.
