What HMP Garth is
HMP Garth holds adult men. Kirkham open sits nearby; families sometimes book the wrong Lancashire gate.
Remand from Preston courts may start at HMP Preston before trainers like Garth or Wymott.
Locating someone at HMP Garth
HMP Garth does not publish a landing list. Use GOV.UK Find a prisoner with name and date of birth. HMPPS only confirms the prison if the person consents. If they were in court today, wait until the next working day before you decide the form is wrong.
Visiting HMP Garth
Book HMP Garth through the national prison-visits service and the official GOV.UK page. You must already be on the visitor list. Session times change; we only reprint a timetable when we have fetched it from that page.
Getting to Preston
Preston or Leyland station, then a taxi to Ulnes Walton Lane. The site is between Leyland and Chorley.
