What HMP Prescoed is
HMP Prescoed holds men suitable for open conditions. Temporary licence and town visits are part of that world; your social visit is still booked.
Locating someone at HMP Prescoed
HMP Prescoed does not publish a landing list. Use GOV.UK Find a prisoner with name and date of birth. HMPPS only confirms the prison if the person consents. If they were in court today, wait until the next working day before you decide the form is wrong.
Visiting HMP Prescoed
Book HMP Prescoed through the national prison-visits service and the official GOV.UK page. You must already be on the visitor list. Session times change; we only reprint a timetable when we have fetched it from that page.
Getting to Usk
A car is the realistic approach. Coed-y-Paen is not Usk High Street. Do not follow a pin for HMP Usk.
