A Surrey women’s trainer, not a London local
HMP Send, GU23 7LJ, holds women in closed Category C conditions. Transfers here often come after a local women’s prison. The therapeutic and resettlement work Send is known for in inspection writing does not change the visit rules.
Locator
Find a prisoner. If it still says Bronzefield, she has not moved to Send.
Visits
GOV.UK Send page. Woking station, then a bus or taxi towards Ripley / Send. It is not a walk from the town centre with a child and bags.
Ripley Road
Do not confuse Send village with “send a prisoner money.” The prison is a specific site on Ripley Road. Check the map pin against GU23 7LJ.
