What HMP Swaleside is
HMP Swaleside holds adult men. It has absorbed functions from other Kent sites over time; GOV.UK is live.
Cookham Wood YOI is across the Medway water on the mainland.
Locating someone at HMP Swaleside
HMP Swaleside does not publish a landing list. Use GOV.UK Find a prisoner with name and date of birth. HMPPS only confirms the prison if the person consents. If they were in court today, wait until the next working day before you decide the form is wrong.
Visiting HMP Swaleside
Book HMP Swaleside through the national prison-visits service and the official GOV.UK page. You must already be on the visitor list. Session times change; we only reprint a timetable when we have fetched it from that page.
Getting to Sheerness
Sittingbourne, Sheppey bridge, then taxi to Brabazon Road / Eastchurch.
