Liguria is the coastal strip from Ventimiglia to La Spezia, capital Genoa. DAP places people in istituti that are not the ferry terminal. There is no public list of names.

Liguria: how this area actually works

Genoa is the court city, the port, and the regional capital, pressed between the Apennines and the sea. Savona, Imperia, and La Spezia complete a region that is long and thin. A person arrested in the port is not held on a cruise quay. Police custody is not the colloquio. DAP may keep someone in a Genoese casa circondariale or move them into Piedmont after classification. giustizia.it will not search a surname. Ask the lawyer which istituto is current before you book a hotel in the carruggi. The aquarium and the lanterna are not gates. Genova Piazza Principe and Brignole are the stations. Trains run toward Ventimiglia, La Spezia, and the north through the mountains. The airport is at Sestri. The istituto approach is the official one, not the porto antico. Cinque Terre trains are for the coast, not a default prison route.

Drivers use the A10 and the A12, which jam in summer. A hotel in Portofino or the Cinque Terre is the wrong base unless the papers name that town. Nice airport is abroad.
