Occitanie: how this area actually works
Seysses, west of Toulouse, takes Haute-Garonne remand. It is a Tisséo bus problem, not a walk from the Capitole. Muret, nearby, is a centre de détention and not the same parloir. Montpellier's magnet is Villeneuve-lès-Maguelone, on the lagoon edge, which Google underestimates. Nîmes, Narbonne and Béziers sit between the two big cities and are not automatically either Seysses or Villeneuve. Perpignan serves the Pyrénées-Orientales and the Spanish border at Cerbère. Andorra and Spanish relatives still follow French rules if the person is held in this région. The old Midi-Pyrénées and Languedoc-Roussillon split is one URL and two climates.
A Toulouse arrest is not a promise of a Seysses cell for the whole sentence. The DAP moves people to Muret, to the coast, or out of Occitanie. Prévenus may need the juge d'instruction in Toulouse, Montpellier or Perpignan. Condamnés need the permis for the named house. A probation conversation with the SPIP in Toulouse is not a visit to Seysses. GENESIS does not become public because a case is in the news. Nimes, Narbonne and Beziers sit between Toulouse and Montpellier and are not automatically either gate. Beziers is another coastal town.
This page groups prisons recorded as Occitanie. It does not list people at Seysses, Villeneuve-lès-Maguelone or Perpignan. Read justice.gouv.fr and the notice. Do not copy a Bordeaux-Gradignan plan onto a Toulouse bus, and do not copy a Marseille plan onto Montpellier. Those are neighbouring régions with their own gates. Seysses, Muret, Villeneuve-les-Maguelone and Perpignan are four Occitanie addresses. Andorra is not a fifth. Narbonne and Beziers are not Seysses, and Muret is not the Capitole. Finding someone held in Occitanie
Occitanie publishes no roll for Seysses, Muret, Villeneuve-lès-Maguelone, Nîmes or Perpignan. Ask the lawyer or the greffe. justice.gouv.fr will not show you names. GENESIS is internal. A Toulouse hearing may still leave the person in police custody. Do not phone Seysses and expect a name. A rumour from the Spanish side of the Pyrenees is not a French placement. Seysses and Muret will not name a stranger who calls the gate. Wait for the Toulouse greffe, then read the notice carefully.
Seysses is not Muret, and neither is Villeneuve-lès-Maguelone. Perpignan is not Narbonne by default. If the letter names Gradignan or Les Baumettes, you have left Occitanie. The permis must match the house. An Andorra or Barcelona document does not replace it. Nimes and Perpignan are different trains from both Toulouse and Montpellier. Villeneuve-les-Maguelone is the lagoon house, not the Capitole. Nimes is a different Gard line, and Beziers is not the pink city. Check the letter twice. Then you travel.
Visits and family practicalities
The permis is for one établissement. Remand can require the juge d'instruction in Toulouse or Montpellier. Seysses and Villeneuve do not share a timetable. This guide does not invent hours. Read the notice before you fly into Blagnac or take the TGV to Montpellier.
Bring the identification required. Phones stay outside. Lagoon roads and Toulouse ring-road traffic will not extend a slot. If the person moved from Seysses to Muret, or from Toulouse to the coast, the old permit fails. Re-check that morning.
Getting around Occitanie
Toulouse-Blagnac and the Tisséo network are the west. Seysses is not the Capitole. Montpellier Saint-Roch and the lagoon road serve Villeneuve-lès-Maguelone. Perpignan is the southern TGV stop before Spain. Nîmes is a separate Gard trip. Muret is a short ride south of Toulouse and still the wrong gate if the letter says Seysses.
Drivers from Andorra or Barcelona should leave the border and the French last mile apart. Parking is limited. Summer heat on the coastal plain is a visit fact. Use the official address. Do not finish at the Capitole or on a Montpellier beach.
